David Seymour says we all need to take ownership of the country's school attendance problem

The Associate Education Minister, introduced an attendance dashboard this year, recording student turnout across the country.

It found week one of term two, had an average of 87.1 percent in student attendance.

Seymour says this is due to serve weather experienced by many regions.
