    A blunt assessment from McLaren driver Oscar Piastri after a team tactical error at the Qatar Formula 1 Grand Prix


    Piastri and teammate Lando Norris led the race early, but the pair were the only drivers not to take a pit stop during an early safety car.

    The move ultimately handed Max Verstappen a seventh race win of the year - with Piastri second and Carlos Sainz third.

    Piastri was asked about the decision.



    Norris finished fourth - his championship lead over Verstappen is now just 12 points ahead of next week's season finale.

    Liam Lawson finished ninth - a place ahead of Red Bull rival Yuki Tsunoda.
