New Zealand Rugby's labelling the departure of their head of men's high performance Mike Anthony as a 'significant loss'

New Zealand Rugby's labelling the departure of their head of men's high performance Mike Anthony as a 'significant loss'

Football club Brighton and Hove Albion confirmed overnight that Anthony is joining them in a similar role also encompassing player development.

NZR general manager professional rugby Chris Lendrum says Anthony has played a big part in rugby in New Zealand - contributing to multiple winning campaigns across the Crusaders, NZ Under 20s, All Blacks Sevens and the All Blacks

Lendrum says they're incredibly happy for Anthony.

New Zealand Rugby will now be searching for a new high performance boss, while the search for a chief executive, chief commercial officer and chief financial officer continues.
