All Whites captain Chris Wood is expected to return from injury by April

All Whites captain Chris Wood is expected to return from injury by April

The Herald reports his club Nottingham Forest are planning for him to appear by then, which also marks positive news for New Zealand's World Cup football campaign.

    Wood hasn't played since mid-October.

His physical status has become a preoccupation over recent months, given his all-encompassing influence within the New Zealand team.
