    Decorated coach Gordon Walker is stepping aside from his role at Canoe Racing New Zealand


    The six-time Halberg coach of the year has mentored Dame Lisa Carrington since 2010 - helping her to become New Zealand's most successful ever Olympian, with eight gold medals.

    Walker says the job takes a hundred percent of your physical, mental and emotional capability.
