The 64-12 drubbing of Moana Pasifika secures them a fourth place finish, knocks Moana out and secures the Blues sixth spot and a date with the Chiefs in Hamilton on Saturday.

Coach Clark Laidlaw says they're showing a good understanding of how they want to play.

The second placed Crusaders will host the Reds on Friday.
