    Este Haim has got married

The Haim bassist tied the knot with tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin on New Year's Eve (31.12.25) at a star-studded ceremony in California in front of guests including Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks.

Although details about the big day have been kept under wraps, Vogue magazine have documented the 39-year-old star's trip to the Louis Vuitton atelier in Paris with her sisters Danielle and Alana for the fittings for her ceremony, reception, and after-party gowns, as well as her siblings' bridesmaid dresses.

Este told the publication: "I've been looking forward to this day since I was five.

"I had this vision of me, coming down a spiral staircase ... in this giant ballroom gown, and then my fiancé, [my] husband, would be at the bottom and grab my hand."

Este's ceremony dress featured a high neck, puff sleeves, voluminous panniers and a jacket with lace details, and she praised her friend, Louis Vuitton's women's creative director Nicolas Ghesquière for capturing her vision perfectly.

She said: "I feel like the exact way that I wanted to be on my wedding day."

The designer had offered to create his pal's dress, and she arrived for a lunch meeting with a Pinterest board of her favourite dresses that Nicolas had designed over the years.

She recalled: "Then he just started sketching, like live sketching, in front of us.

"Seeing the process of Nicolas designing in real time was one of the craziest experiences I think collectively of our existence. It's almost like he crept into my dreams and looked at what I was sketching in my head, and was like, 'Alright, I know what she wants.' "

For the dinner after the ceremony, Este had a drop-waisted lace dress with spaghetti straps that featured a removable skirt to shorten the gown for the after-party.

And while she was delighted with her bridal looks, the If I Could Change Your Mind hitmaker was most looking forward to getting her loved ones together.

She said: "I'm looking forward to seeing my entire family together, for the first time in a long time, and partying with my friends, and finally being married.

"Though the most important thing is that I'm getting married and that I met the right person. See you in 2026!"

Although Este revealed in February she had got engaged, she admitted Jonathan had actually taken her by surprise and popped the question in December 2024.

She said: "I had Mario Badescu acne medication on, my hair was in a top knot, I had no make-up on, I was in sweats and sneakers, and we were on a hike."

Her new husband proposed with a temporary ring.

She added: "A beautiful ring still, but the second he was like, 'Will you marry me?' and I said yes, he also was like, 'We need to design this ring, because this is not the final thing.

"I thought [that] was really, really sweet."
