    A person's died following a grass fire... in the Far North town of Kaitaia


    Police were called about 5pm... after a neighbour found their body.

    Their death is NOT believed to be suspicious.

    Fire and Emergency say they received a call to a grass fire... endangering a structure on Snel-gar Road.

    They say the fire was mostly out... upon arrival.
