Pope Francis' health seems to be deteriorating - with his prognosis still unclear

Pope Francis' health seems to be deteriorating - with his prognosis still unclear

The 88-year-old's suffered a prolonged asthmatic respiratory crisis - while being treated for pneumonia and a lung infection.

He's also now receiving high-flow oxygen - and has undergone a blood transfusion.

UK correspondent Enda Brady, says his condition seems to be very serious - especially given his age and medical history.

He says the Pope had pleurisy in his early 20's and was so ill back then, he had part of his lung removed.
