    Details about a fatal capsize off Kaikoura in 2022 will be revealed today


    A charter boat flipped in Goose Bay almost three years ago - carrying a skipper and 10 members of the Nature Photography Society.

    Five people died after being exposed to petrol fumes while trapped under the vessel.

    Maritime NZ ruled the likely cause was a whale impacting the i-catcher, as it came to the surface.

    The Transport Accident Investigation Commission's final report is being released at 2pm, including details around the direct cause of the tragedy.
