Carlos Alcaraz has had a close shave at the French Tennis Open, but more off the court than on

He's flown in his barber Victor Martinez from Spain to serve up a short back and sides, fading to his customary hirsute thatch up top.

The second seed appeared a touch blunt in the second set against Fabian Marozsan but went on to win the second round match in four - he looked razor-sharp at 6-1, 6-2 to finish.

Seventh seed Casper Ruud has been defeated in four sets by Nuno Borges .

Defending champion Iga Swiatek and world number one Aryna Sabalenka have advanced in the women's draw.
