An Auckland foreign exchange company's been fined more than a million dollars over multiple suspicious transactions

Qian DuoDuo Limited failed to report 197 international transactions to China between June 2018 and September 2019.

That included 26 involving objectively suspicious activities - worth more than 19 million dollars.

The company had also failed to submit prescribed transaction reports.

Two people pleaded guilty to criminal offending and have been convicted.
