Jax Taylor still sleeps at Brittany Cartwright's house

The celebrity duo announced their separation in 2024, but Jax still sleeps under the same roof as his estranged wife when he's looking after their son.

Jax - who has Cruz, four, with Brittany - told The Valley After Show: "A lot of times I like to go stay at the house - our house. That way it doesn't uproot him. That way he has his pool. He has his house. His room. I'll just stay at the house. She's comfortable with me doing that."

Brittany, 36, has assumed responsibility for the mortgage on the $2 million property in the San Fernando Valley.

However, Jax suggested that their co-parenting relationship is improving all the time.

The 45-year-old star said: "We're getting to a good spot. We don't have a set schedule because obviously Brittany and I's schedules are very crazy."

Jax - who married Brittany in 2019 - feels their current arrangements can still be improved.

He explained: "Every Wednesday. Every other weekend. That's the goal.

"But right now it's like, 'Can you grab him? Can you take him for a couple nights? I need to go to New York.' Because we travel a lot. That's how it is right now."

Meanwhile, Jax recently claimed to have had a "superiority complex" over Brittany.

The reality TV star confessed that he "never wanted to take any accountability" for his actions because he was older than Brittany.

He said on In the Mind of Jax Taylor: "I didn't seek help when I should have, when she told me to. I didn't wanna hear it.

"And men, I believe ... are very stubborn. And I'm a very stubborn human being - I'm not wrong, she's wrong, you know?

"I never wanted to take any accountability for my actions because like I said, I'm older. I know more than you. You don't know anything.

"I had that mentality because she was a lot younger than me."

Jax admitted that he struggled to be open and honest with his wife.

He said: "I was afraid to talk to Brittany about a lot of things, not only because of her reactions, but as a man, I felt very vulnerable and weak.

"I just don't like to ask for help."
