Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox has battled to a two-over 72 to open the first PGA Tour playoffs event in Memphis

Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox has battled to a two-over 72 to open the first PGA Tour playoffs event in Memphis

Fox traded two birdies and two bogeys early to be back even by the sixth hole but two further dropped shots on the 14th and 17th blemished his card.

He's tied for 53rd in the no-cut event, 10 shots off the pace with the likes of Scottie Scheffler just teeing off.

Fellow Kiwi Kazuma Kobori is tied for 65th at two-over the card and seven back from the lead at the latest European Tour event at Trump International in Aberdeen.
