The New Zealand Breakers have completed their pre-season basketball campaign with a 90-81 loss to the Kumamoto Volters in Japan

The New Zealand Breakers have completed their pre-season basketball campaign with a 90-81 loss to the Kumamoto Volters in Japan

The Breaker's roster was heavily depleted, with injury sidelining two imports and illness taking out two others...leaving only seven healthy players suiting up for the clash.

The result was the team's only loss in what has been a dominant build-up to the NBL26 season, after their NBL Blitz win and Friday's victory against the Nagasaki Velca.

The Breakers are now returning home to prepare for next Friday's NBL season opener against the Brisbane Bullets at Spark Arena.
