Aubrey O'Day was hospitalised for an illness that forced her to miss Danity Kane's reunion show in Los Angeles

In a now-expired post on her Instagram Stories, the 41-year-old singer revealed on Wednesday (10.12.25) that she was rushed into the Emergency Room (ER) because she "become extremely sick".

And Aubrey was left heartbroken that her illness meant she could not perform with her group mates, Aundrea Fimbres and D. Woods, both 42, on stage at the El Rey Theatre - the second stop of Danity Kane's The Untold Chapter tour.

According to TMZ, Aubrey wrote over a black screen: "My loves ... I am so sorry. I've become extremely sick and physically can't make tonight's show as I'm in the ER.

"I've been fighting it all day, spinning around in my head trying to find any way to make this work, but being sick is being sick - it's completely out of my control.

"My heart is broken because I never want to let you down."

The Damaged hitmaker ended her post by stressing to fans that she will be back on stage with Aundrea and D. Woods as soon as the star feels better.

Aubrey added: "I know the girls will give you an incredible performance tonight, and I promise I'll be back with you the second my body lets me."

The singer appeared on the new Netflix series Sean Combs: The Reckoning, and she spoke about working with him after she was selected to join Danity Kane in 2005 on MTV's reality show Making the Band.

In the documentary series, Aubrey revealed she felt like she was fired from Danity Kane in 2008 for allegedly "not participating sexually" with Combs after he allegedly send her "emails with pictures of his penis".

Aubrey said: "This is your boss at your work sending you that e-mail. What happens in real life to anyone else? Your boss gets fired.

"Six months later, I was fired. I absolutely felt that I was fired for not participating sexually, but I also found out later that [fellow Danity Kane member] Dawn [Richard] and Puff were recording a different project.

"I was the star of the show, and Puff needed to move that entire audience over to a new project."

Combs is serving 50 months behind bars after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

In response to the accusations made in the docuseries, his legal team said they were "not going to comment on individual claims being repeated in the documentary".

They added in a statement to Variety: "Many of the people featured have longstanding personal grievances, financial motives, or credibility issues that have been documented for years.

"Several of these stories have already been addressed in court filings, and others were never raised in any legal forum because they're simply not true.

"The project was built around a one-sided narrative led by a publicly admitted adversary, and it repeats allegations without context, evidence, or verification Sean Combs will continue to address legitimate matters through the legal process, not through a biased Netflix production."

In an Instagram Stories post on Thursday (11.12.25), Aubrey reflected on the "intense, overwhelming" two weeks following the release of the Netflix docuseries.

She wrote alongside a photo of her being carried on stage: "What an intense, overwhelming two weeks this has been for me - with the Netflix drop.

"The world now knowing things that were hard for me to say and everything I've [learned] since - plus all the things happening behind the scenes in every area of business rn (almost 2 years non stop before that as well).

"It's been a very heavy time. This picture is the first time I've seen myself fully released - and I'm so happy that it happened on stage with my Danity Kane sisters, and with my family ... you the most loyal audience.

"I can't wait to see you next show. (sic)"
