A confidence building result for the Black Sticks women ahead of their Commonwealth Games title defence

They've beaten the world number four ranked England 3-1 in World Cup action at Amsterdam.

Katie Doar scored two of New Zealand's goals.

She says her first to level the match was key to swinging momentum.

The Black Sticks now top their pool after a first up draw against China - they face India on Friday.
