Uncertainty in the wine industry, despite an upturn in harvests

Uncertainty in the wine industry, despite an upturn in harvests

Global wine company Delegat Group says crops this season were up 39-percent on last year's disappointing season - topping 47-thousand tonnes.

Exports reached more than 2-billion-dollars in the March 2025 year, up more than two-percent.

NZ Winegrowers CEO, Philip Gregan , says the industry's delighted with the quality, but the future's not clear.

He says tariffs into the US and general economic uncertainty are to blame.
