New Zealand First is bringing together party faithful, as they look towards 2026 - election year

MPs and supporters are gathering in Palmerston North this weekend for the party's annual conference.

Leader Winston Peters will address supporters tomorrow, and lay out policies for the year ahead.

The party says clear and experienced leadership's essential.

It's understood one of the items on the agenda is exploring the option of nuclear power.
