Calls for better quality analysis of Cabinet policy proposals, and how they're regulated

A report from the Ministry for Regulation's found there's room for improvement around the quality of analysis provided by agencies.

It's found a decreasing number of impact statements are fully meeting the standard of quality advice.

The agency says its a persistent issue and a concern, that a significant number of proposals were missing impact analysis.
