Meat Industry Association data reveals red meat exports surged to more than 700-million dollars in August, with the US being our greatest overall market by value that month.
Americans were also our largest buyers of beef, despite volumes falling by 13 percent.
Chief Executive Sirma Karapeeva says the full effects of Trump's 15 percent tariffs are still unclear as it took effect in early August.
She says it'll be better understood in the September and October trade data.
