    Police have arrested four people after a large scale brawl in Auckland's Karangahape Road early this morning


    They were called to reports of around 50 people fighting on the central city street at around 3:30am.

    A person suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

    Police are maintaining a presence on the street this morning.

    Residents have reported hearing yelling and screaming on the street for two hours following the incident and armed police searching the area with dogs.
