Drug company Pfitzer has applied for an exemption to urgently roll out it's vaccine in America.
The UK has already approved it - and plans to start administering doses as early as next week.
Joe Biden says people must have faith in the ability of the vaccine to work.
He says it's important to communicate to the American people that it's safe.
