A health professional put into quarantine after a PPE protocol incident while managing the Covid-infected patient from Fiji is reported to be doing well

The Middlemore hospital based worker was moved into MIQ after the breach because they're unable to easily quarantine at home.

They are fully vaccinated and are currently not symptomatic.

They'll isolate for 14 days, and be tested on days five and 12.

The patient from Fiji is in a stable condition in Middlemore's Intensive Care Unit.
