    The number of million-dollar property sales has shot up


    Real Estate Institute figures show an almost 70 percent lift in 2021 on top dollar sales - on the previous year.

    More than 30 thousand passed the million-dollar mark last year.

    Southland, Taranaki and Gisborne had the biggest increases.
