    A verbal spat last December between player and owner is one of the reasons prop Matt Lodge left the Warriors

    Club boss Cameron George has fronted media, after reports in Australia over the last 24 hours suggested the club would be paying 700k to see off Lodge.

    George says Lodge and owner Mark Robinson had an argument late last year which continued to simmer.



    George has confirmed they have reached a settlement with Lodge, including buying out his option for next year.

    But he insists the club is in a healthy salary cap state.
