    Live: Hezbollah-Israel ceasefire holds as people start to move back to south Lebanon

    The ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah so far appears to hold with some people starting their journey back to the southern Lebanon. Follow live.


    Lebanese people who have been displaced for weeks have started to move back south as a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah holds.

    The ceasefire took effect at 4am local time hours after US President Joe Biden announced the deal had been reached.

    Just after it started, the Israeli military warned against any civilians moving around until it said it was safe.
