ACT Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham is backing Super Rugby Pacific's playoffs system, despite home grievances about tonight's semifinal against the Chiefs

ACT Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham is backing Super Rugby Pacific's playoffs system, despite home grievances about tonight's semifinal against the Chiefs

Larkham says the Chiefs deserve their position.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs are hopeful their playoff experience will come to the fore in tonight's knockout in Hamilton.

The home side have made the last two competition finals, but came up short both times.

Playmaker Damian McKenzie says they must lift in the final 15 minutes, when they came undone in the qualifying final loss to the Blues.

The winner will face the Crusaders in next week's final in Christchurch.

Kickoff's at five past seven - live commentary on Gold Sport and iHeartRadio.
