Heavy metal pioneer Ozzy Osbourne wanted Kiwis to love his last studio album as much as he did

Heavy metal pioneer Ozzy Osbourne wanted Kiwis to love his last studio album as much as he did

Osbourne's died aged 76, surrounded by his family.

He's most famous for being the front man of band Black Sabbath, with rock anthems like War Pigs and Paranoid, and later had a successful solo career.

Speaking to Mike Hosking in 2013, Osbourne shared his surprise love for his album, 13.

He said he had no complaints about the album, and that wasn't something he could say about most things.

Osbourne's death comes weeks after he returned to the stage in a huge farewell concert in the UK.
