    Offsite manufacturing is set to deliver hospital wards in record time


    The Government's announced 140 new beds will open across at Middlemore, Waikato, Wellington, Nelson and Hawke's Bay hospitals next year.

    Construction firm Southbase has been awarded the contract to deliver the programme.

    North Island Manager Marcus Beddis says the programme will use repeatable designs.

    He says they will also do multiples at once which means they can be delivered faster. 11-07-25 1353
