Christchurch's Mayor has more suggestions for where hospital night-shift workers can park

Christchurch's Mayor has more suggestions for where hospital night-shift workers can park

Phil Mauger's doubling down on his proposal from earlier this year, that the 500-space carpark at the new Parakiore Metro Sports and Recreation Centre could be used for hospital workers, following concerns for their safety.

He says there's also vacant land that could be used - where the hospital had it's old boiler house.

Mauger says you'd likely get 100 cars in there.
