The Prime Minister says support for working families builds on tax cuts last year

The Prime Minister says support for working families builds on tax cuts last year

Today's Budget's has major KiwiSaver changes, a business tax incentive - and it tweaks working for families credits to the tune of seven-dollars a week.

The rushed overhaul of pay equity claims has saved the Government nearly 13-billion dollars.

It's also pulled back 211-million - by making Best Start weekly payment for parents means-tested, the full three years.

But Chris Luxon says there's a lot for families, who'll benefit from investment in health and education, as well as a Government that's lowering inflation.
