The Associate Health Minister says New Zealand's not ready for a complete crackdown on vaping

The Associate Health Minister says New Zealand's not ready for a complete crackdown on vaping

New laws come in today, aiming to curb youth vaping, including new stricter advertising restrictions.

Disposable vapes are banned, however pod-style vaping devices will still be sold.

Casey Costello says Australia's prescription only approach won't work here.

She says Pasifika and Maori continue to have the highest smoking rates, and reducing availability for those who aren't engaging with the health system, is problematic.
