Liam Payne's grieving girlfriend Kate Cassidy has reportedly moved out of the home they shared in London

The 25-year-old model was left heartbroken when the former One Direction star died in October after plunging from a balcony at a hotel in Argentina and Kate - who had previously been with him on the trip - is now believed to have moved her possessions out of the luxury apartment in the British capital where she had set up home with the singer

Pictures published online show Kate moving suitcases out of the riverside property, which is believed to have been owned by Liam.

The couple are also said to have rented a home together in Miami, Florida.

Dailymail.co.uk reports Kate was in the UK for Liam's funeral last month and stayed at the flat during the trip, but she is now travelling back to the US to spend Christmas with her family.

The social media star - who had been dating Liam for two years - was in Argentina with him to attend Niall Horan's gig in Buenos Aires but she flew back to the US while Liam remained behind to deal with a visa issue.

After the singer's death, Kate took to Instagram to share her pain over the loss. She wrote: "I don't even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can't put into words.

"I wish you could see the huge impact you've had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone - millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me.

"You are so incredibly loved. You are - because I can't say were - my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did.

"Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into. None of this feels real, and I can't wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I'm struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side."

She added: "Together, we got to be kids again, always finding joy in the smallest things. Liam, you had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I've lost the best part of myself. I can't imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life."
