The Prime Minister's still hopes to bring billions to the country from multi-trillion dollar investment firm Blackrock -- despite its swift dumping of a Kiwi green energy company

SolarZero's been put into liquidation, owing 40-million dollars to roughly 700 creditors and staff.

It was bought by Blackrock a year ago - but it's pulled the plug, citing unsustainable losses.

Despite this, Chris Luxon says he's still keen for the global giant to invest more in New Zealand.

He says everywhere he goes when he's overseas, he takes two hours with the biggest investors in that country and meets with them for lunch.

Luxon says they are open to investing in New Zealand, and he wants their money.
