Jake Paul was "born on camera"

The 28-year-old star actually learned that his birth was caught on camera while watching 'American Paul', the new reality series about Jake and his brother Logan Paul

Jake told PEOPLE: "I found out that I was born on camera, which I didn't know before. And all of a sudden, I'm watching the episode in the series and I see myself being born. So, there's all of this footage that my parents found and that's absolutely absurd.

"I literally was born on camera, so I feel like this is destiny."

Jake recently announced his engagement to speedskater Jutta Leerdam.

And the 26-year-old sports star has described Jake as the "most romantic guy in the world", observing that she's "super lucky" to be engaged to him.

Jutta - who began dating the YouTuber-turned-boxer back in 2023 - said: "He is doing it all for me. Like it's the sweetest thing and I'm super lucky. I don't think people expect that from him."

Jake announced his engagement via a social media post over the weekend.

The former Disney star and Jutta both took to Instagram to share the news with their followers, explaining that they "can't wait to spend forever together".

Alongside a photo of Jake proposing to Jutta while surrounded by flowers and candles, they wrote on Instagram: "We're engaged.

"We can't wait to spend forever together."

In the photo, Jake is down on one knee as he proposes to Jutta, who is seen covering her mouth in surprise.

In another snap, Jutta - who won a silver medal at the Winter Olympics in Beijing in 2022 - is seen showing off her sparkling engagement ring to the camera.

The loved-up couple were subsequently inundated with congratulatory messages from some of their showbiz pals.

Logan Paul, Jake's older brother, was one of the first people to congratulate the couple on their engagement.

The 29-year-old wrestler simply said: "LIL BRO GOT ENGAGED!!! (sic)"

Gymnast Livvy Dunne has also congratulated the happy couple on their engagement news.

The 22-year-old star - who has also featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue - wrote on Instagram: "OMG! Congratulations guys. (sic)"
