Today's Day Three of a coroner's inquest into an Auckland terror attacker's death at New Lynn Countdown

Today's Day Three of a coroner's inquest into an Auckland terror attacker's death at New Lynn Countdown

The court has seen, and meticulously analysed, footage of Ahamed Samsudeen being shot by police after he attacked shoppers in 2021.

Yesterday, lawyer Anna Adams went through footage frame-by-frame of the moment Samsudeen was confronted, and shot, by the officers surveilling him.

It should help in deciding whether the attacker was moving forward, or stumbling back, at the time he was first shot.

The pathologist who conducted Samsudeen's autopsy will give evidence next week.
