    Optimism from architects about their future - despite low confidence in the wider industry


    A survey of 840 architectural practitioners suggests more than half are starting fewer projects compared to 12 months ago.

    But almost 80-percent expect their practices will ride out the downturn.

    EBOSS Managing Director Matthew Duder says small-build companies have been hit the hardest.

    He says it is difficult for them to be profitable with the little work they have.
