Ciara has teamed up with True Religion for a new campaign celebrating "women who hustle"

The 39-year-old singer, actress, model and dancer described the collaboration as "super natural", with her and the clothing brand having shared values

She told WWD: "I've always loved that they encourage people to show up as their real selves.

"Being a multihyphenate means not letting anybody put you in one box.

"This campaign celebrates women who hustle, who shine in every lane they choose and who don't apologise for being powerful in more than one way. That's the energy I live in."

The brand heaped praise on the Get Up hitmaker, who has joined the campaign alongside model and real estate agent Nicole Anderson, former tennis star Ayan Broomfield, rapper Kash Doll, content creator and activewear brand founder Alisah Washington, and entrepreneur Mahogany Jones.

Kristen D'Arcy, True Religion's chief marketing officer and head of digital growth, added: "We couldn't imagine a better partner for this campaign than Ciara, who embodies the essence of True Religion by inspiring others to own their presence, speak through style and lead with confidence.

"We also celebrate the other powerhouse women leading this campaign - the creators, entrepreneurs and athletes who unapologetically express themselves and use their platforms to embolden others, build community and drive culture forward."

Ciara previously admitted she prefers to go for more "natural" vibes when it comes to her day-to-day looks and plays down her makeup habits ordinarily so she can save up all the "drama" for when she is on stage.

She told Harper's Bazaar: "I love an everyday look. I'm a big 'less is more' kind of girl and when I'm rolling in my everyday flow, I go for the more natural look.

"Then when it's time to amp up the drama for being on stage, I get to have those moments. It's another level of process to put on stage make-up on.

"My make-up artist Yolonda Frederick has been in my career since I was a little baby at 16 years old and we've played a lot over the years. I think we've evolved together."
