There are a number of 'vehicles of interest' in the suspected hit and run death of a woman in Whanganui last month

There are a number of 'vehicles of interest' in the suspected hit and run death of a woman in Whanganui last month

79-year-old Fay Butler's body was found near the intersection of Anzac Parade and Helmore Street in the early hours of August 28.

Police enquiries and a review of CCTV footage has led to the identification of several vehicles of interest.

Senior Sergeant Aaron Bunker says they're looking for the drivers of a grey four-door sedan, a dark SUV-type car and several others on foot who may've seen or heard something.
