Further to our breaking news... Three men are in custody after a vehicle crashed into a car carrying a mother and two children in Papakura

Officers tried to stop te vehicle at a petrol station but it sped off, later crashing into the trio who suffered minor injuries.

Armed police have been going door to door in Opaheke, where the incident took place this morning.

A number of cordons are in place along Settlement Road and members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
