Kate Moss glowed with "warmth" from her memories of dating Johnny Depp, says a leading body language expert

The model, 48, who was in a relationship with Depp from 1994 to 1997, is said to have showed a string of signs of fondness for the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor when giving testimony in his $100 million defamation trial against his former wife Amber Heard, 36

Behaviourist Judi James, 52, told DailyMail.com: "Asked, 'Do you know Jonny Depp?' Kate's very subtle facial movements suggest residual warmth at the memory.

"The right side of her mouth curls up in a subtle smile as she says, 'Yes I do'.

"Kate gives the impression of being polite, smiling sweetly and apologetically when speaking over the lawyer and being interrupted by him."

James added Moss appeared calm and "impassive, devoid of any signs of stress or anxiety" - despite the model previously claiming speaking to media would leave her feeling sick.

James went on: "Her testimony is brief and simple, as is her body language. For much of it her face is impassive, her lips pulling together slightly after most of her answers.

"Despite the fact that she is famously private, her blink rate and her shoulder angle look devoid of any signs of stress or anxiety."

James added Depp covered his mouth to hide his smile and joy at Moss'

testimony, while his lawyer was seen openly smiling and looking delighted.

Notoriously private mum-of-one Moss - who has daughter Lila-Grace, nine, with ex Jefferson Hack, 51 - is said by fashion watchers to have worn plain monochrome designer clothes and minimal make-up so the court could focus on her face and testimony instead of her clothing.

Moss put aside her notorious hatred of interviews to help Depp's defence team by delivering a blow to Heard's case and squashing the actress'

claim the actor once pushed the supermodel down a flight of stairs when on holiday in Jamaica.

During Heard's testimony earlier this month, the actress alleged Depp once pushed Moss down a flight of stairs.

But the model claimed in her testimony this week she accidentally slipped on wet stairs after a rainstorm, and insisted she was never "kicked" or "pushed" by Depp.

She said: "We were leaving the room and Johnny left the room before I did. There had been a rainstorm and as I left the room I slid down the stairs.

"I hurt my back, and I screamed because I didn't know what had happened."

She added Depp "carried her to her room and got her medical attention".
