    A 34-year-old man's been charged with murder - over the death of a woman in Ngaruawahia just after Christmas


    Police aren't ruling out further arrests

    The woman was critically injured in a fight between multiple people on the afternoon of December 27, and died before making it to hospital.

    A man was arrested this morning, after searches in Hamilton and Tauranga, some with Armed Offenders assistance.

    He'll appear in Hamilton District Court today. .
