Nikki Bella wants to "earn her spot" in the current WWE landscape

The 41-year-old wrestler turned reality star has returned to her roots in recent weeks, and on last night's (14.07.25) episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix she won her first singles match for the company since 2018

After her victory over Chelsea Green, she wrote on X: "Thank you for tonight Bella Army!!! You know how to make your girl feel so good!!

"Laid the foundation for myself tonight, now time to build, work even harder, stay fearless and eventually earn my spot in this new era! Won't be easy, but I'll never give up! (sic)"

Nikki - whose real name is Nikki Garcia - beat Chelsea with her so-called Rack Attack 2.0 signature move.

However, fans noticed she almost went for the original version of the move, which previously caused the wrestler issues with her neck.

A fan posted: "Nikki Bella forgot she retired the original Rack Attack and was initially going for it but then corrected herself and hit the 2.0 version."

She replied: "Exactly ... muscle memory is insane! I haven't done that since before neck surgery! Wild!"

She promised to reveal more about the match and the scary moment on the weekly Raw Recap podcast, which is release every Tuesday.

After the match, she was attacked by Chelsea and her Service Hervice teammates Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, but Stephanie Vaquer saved her.

The two women are still one person down against their rivals, which could set the stage of Nikki's twin sister Brie Bella to also come out of retirement.

Nikki's last one on one WWE match was a loss to Ronda Rousey in the inaugural 2018 all-women's Evolution event, which returned for its second edition over the weekend.

She previously appeared in the 2022 and 2025 Royal Rumble matches, and had initially been set to face Liv Morgan at Evolution this year before the wrestler got injured.

During the build-up to the cancelled match, Liv mocked Nikki's high profile divorce from Artem Chigvintsev during an in-character exchange on Monday Night Raw.

As part of the storyline, she interrupted the star's comeback speech and said: "You know what, Nikki? You're lucky. You're lucky I wasn't around during your career because I would've been champion and beaten you around then too.

"But you know what? As I'm talking, I realise why you didn't mention me. You didn't mention me because you're jealous of me.

"You're jealous of me because I have everything that you don't. I have respect, I have a championship, and I have a man!"
