The courts have raised mental fitness, and ability to stand trial - for a woman accused of putting a toddler in a suitcase in a bus luggage compartment

She has been charged with neglect after the toddler was found on a bus travelling from Northland to Auckland last month.
The 27-year-old's appeared at a special court in Auckland today - for defendants with severe mental health issues.
She remains in custody.
