An intersection in Blenheim is set to become a lot safer

An intersection in Blenheim is set to become a lot safer

The Transport Agency has announced construction will begin on a new roundabout at the intersection of State Highway Six, and State Highway 62.

The project is aligned to New Zealand's Road to Zero strategy.

The Agency says roundabouts can reduce deaths and serious injuries at an intersection by up to 65 per cent.

The project will begin this month, and is expected to be complete by mid 2021.
