New data shows how hard Covid-19 has impacted New Zealand households financially

According to Horizon Research, more than a million adults say their households are worse off financially than they were last year.

Principal Graeme Colman says the economic impact of Covid-19 has adversely affected businesspeople, the lower paid and larger and solo-parent families.

But he says overall people are feeling quite resilient with 50-percent of households saying their financial position is the same as a year ago.
