Managed Isolation and Quarantine has confirmed a man who died at Auckland's Grand Millennium is the first death in one of their facilities

The 63-year-old man, who arrived from the Pacific, died yesterday afternoon.
The Ministry of Health's assessment at this stage is that as he came from a country with no local transmission of Covid-19, and he was symptom free, his cause of death is unlikely to be Covid-19 related.
His death has been referred to the coroner.
