Fonterra has big plans for the future

Fonterra has big plans for the future

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
It's made a 599 million dollar profit this financial year, 60 million dollars down on last time, which had been elevated by sales of shares in two companies.

Shareholders will receive a 20 cents per share dividend.

Chief financial officer Marc Rivers says Fonterra wants to return dividends of about a billion dollars by the 2024 financial year, by selling more innovative and profitable products.

He says there's a lot of potential for the co-op and they're excited about the future.
