Dunedin is now the most Covid-immunised place in the country

Dunedin is now the most Covid-immunised place in the country

Ministry of Health data shows 59.6 percent of city residents are fully vaccinated, narrowly beating Marlborough for the number one position.

Original leader, Kaikoura, is now at 57.8 percent.

Southern DHB Covid-19 vaccine programme co-leader Karl Metzler says they're confident they can keep the top spot.

He says they're focusing on targeting hard to reach communities who haven't yet got the jab.
